It is early December and we are in the worst economy we have seen since the Great Depression. What caused this? Lets look at the costs:
- Bailing out companies- $13.87 trillion
- Sending aid to countries- $741 million (most likely $1 billion)
- welfare and education for illegals- $11 Billion to $22 billion each year
- military spending-$700 billion
- cuts in education- $4.9 billion
- student loan debt- nearly $1 trillion
- War on Drugs- over $15 billion in 2010
- Porkbarrel spending-$19.6 billion in 2009
So, what are the solutions? Here are mine:
- NO MORE BAIL OUTS!!! If you cant operate a business successfully, too bad.
- Bring back manufacturing jobs. Remember when America could make a radio, or even its own flag?
- Stop sending money to countries who want to kill us! Also, lets stop training rebels and stop giving them weapons.
- No more handouts to illegals.
- Give incentives to teachers. Why do they only make $37k yet they have an important job?
- Cut defense spending by at least 60%
- no more lobbying. Why do people need lots of money to become president? It should be about ideas, not your bank account.
I am certain you will disagree on some or all points. I want to hear your solutions.
